Stay AWAY! This company is a scam!

This company has zero credibility. I had a ride home from LAX scheduled and then confirmed by them 24 hours prior to the pick-up, but they no-showed and left me and my family stranded at night. I tried calling them when I hadn’t heard from a driver by my scheduled pick-up time at 9:30 PM but nobody would answer the phone. I was on hold waiting for someone to come onto the line for 30 minutes before I was disconnected at 10:00 PM. I called back and then their recorded message said that they don’t answer the phone after 10:00 PM. I tried emailing them and then 15 minutes later received an automated text message stating “due to an unforeseen situation beyond our control, we are unable to accommodate your scheduled pick-up service.” They did refund the money I had paid for the reservation.
After finally calling a taxi, which was one-third cheaper by the way, my family arrived home 90 minutes later than we would have if our scheduled driver had performed. I called the following morning to express my concerns about what had happened, and I spoke to their associate, Alexandria. She said they apologized for the inconvenience but said she had no details regarding what had happened as to why the driver did not show up, why we were not provided with advance notice, or why they did not answer their phone when I called to report the missed pick-up. I told her that refunding my money would have been an acceptable remedy had I been provided with ample advance notice to make alternative arrangements, but that because my family and I have suffered great harm with the stress and wasted time from the missed pick-up that merely returning our money was insufficient. She asked what I was suggesting, and I said I thought they should refund me additional money for the gross inconvenience they caused. She said they were unwilling to do that and did not offer any other remedy. I told her that if they could not do better than that I would leave a detailed Google review about my experience. She hung up on me. Thanks, Alexandria and 24/7 Ride. You are garbage.
