This review is for an experience a few years ols. I was contacted by Debra Winkler (now EPS) and offered a complimentary membership. They gave me the whole sales pitch, extolled the benefits of their services yet would not charge me. When I asked why they were doing this the rep admitted that they didn't have enough men in my particular demographic (age and income are their criteria).
I went to the intake in a rented office in La Jolla. At the conclusion of the intake the rep admonished me to NEVER divulge that I was on a complementary membership but would not tell me why.
About a week later I got the first call and was set up with three dates during the following month. I was paired with three of the most boring, socially inept people I have even encountered. One of my "elite" dates divulged that she was in fact unemployed. During conversation I discovered why I had been asked to keep my membership secret. These women had paid $7,000 for 10 introductions... it cost then $700 to meet me.
After the third match I called the office and asked them to remove me from their list and that I would no longer accept any dates. I could not, in good conscience, be the cause of someone parting with $700 just to meet me.
EPS would have you believe that money can buy happiness. The "work" they claim to do is a fallacy. They just pick people at random. Do yourself a favor. Go to a dating site that lets YOU evaluate the quality of potential mates and allows you to choose with whom you will associate. Don't be tricked into a "value added" mistake by the HIGH cost of this scam. It's not there.
