When we hired Avid Law Center to help us save our home we had been working for over a year with a non-profit organization that got nowhere with our lender. After 4 months of working on our behalf, Avid was notified by our lender that they were denying us any assistance due to the paperwork the first company had provided them. They would not even look at the paperwork Avid had been sending them for 4 months! We were devastated and in fear of losing our home. That is when Kathereine Alves, the Vice President at Avid stepped in. She personally took over our case and pushed forward with our lender to the head offices. Not only did her hard work stop the foreclosure on our home, we also had our interest rate, payment and principal balance reduced!
