My elderly parents found themselves in a real crisis going deep into foreclosure. This man comes knocking on the door saying all the right things and convinces my parents that they should sign a promissory note and deed of trust on the house to obtain a loan because they had a lot of equity on the house. Well as soon as he saw my Father was actively listening he called a notary to come over within three hours came back to the house. My Mom who is severely disabled in a wheelchair and is now legally blind due to heath issues didn't even know what she was signing. Well the man came back with a check days later but stated the payment would be close to 5K which was totally unacceptable and did not accept the funds. To make it clear, my parents did NOT receive funds from this loan and it now appears as a 2nd montage on the house and they will not take it off. They made sure to do all this before I got there after work. My Dad wanted to wait for me but he rushed them through it. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!
