2014 Kia Optima Engine Recall
|
I was a part of the engine recall for my 2014 KIA Optima. I was given a new engine for free, which was great. But, I feel the Dealership tried to sabotage it. I am a single female and don't know a whole lot about cars and always depend or the dealership to be fair and advise what I need. I picked up the car with the new engine and 2 days later, it's overheating...They did not put/fill the radiator back up. Luckily I pulled over and didn't that I know of cause any additional damage. Next..about 3 weeks later. it starts to overheat again. This time, it was completely out of oil. I've never had to add oil in between my oil changes and it was bone dry. I truly believe these two incidents were done on purpose. I called consumer affairs to advise. I then receive a voicemail from the service manager, I have called him back a total of five times with no response. This to me is unacceptable and I will not be returning to Vanguard KIA in Arlington TX (formerly Vandergriff) ever... Worst experience ever!
