Adobe Hills contracts with vendor Mark Shade to serve as our Bookkeeper. How many HOAs do Ron Shearer and Mark Shade service together, as property manager and bookkeeper? Please provide the names of the HOAs. Was this arrangement previously disclosed to homeowners? If so, when and how? This is relevant to me because a business relationship beyond the boundaries of Walnut Place presents a conflict of interest. I am concerned that our Bookkeeper, Mark Shade, is not inclined to hold vendor Ron Shearer accountable for any wrong doing and malfeasance (especially in the area of finances) if it means he could lose business with the other HOAs that Ron manages and Mark provides Bookkeeping services to. We have recording where Mark Shade mentions that he doesn't care about our budget during our budget meeting.
