Wow! I'm not surprised to see that the BBB rating has dropped to an F from the A when we signed up with RA Law Group last year! And I didn't even file a complaint until now! We were very disappointed with their service to say the least! The final straw was when I was told by my representative that Fannie Mae would not extend the sale date another month last August after going month to month without success and that our only option would be to file bankruptcy! I was shocked to say the least and tried calling Fannie Mae myself to request an extension to allow us time to decide other options. The sale date was extended after my call with no help from RA Law! We terminated our contract with RA Law and requested a full refund. RA agreed to $2200 out of the original fee of $3000 only because we were also going through their sister company Debt Relief Advocates which they had recommended to us. DRA also turned out to be a SCAM and we had to terminate that arrangement. To be honest, in our situation I don't think Wells Fargo was willing to work with us on any option. Our efforts to go the short sale route after the modification failure also was not successful as WF would only simply extend the auction date month after month again. We've been out of our house for almost a year now and the auction date was finally scheduled for this month. The big banks are in control and going with RA Law Group is not the answer!
