Working with Bob Loft reminds me of the days when doctors made house calls and your neighborhood grocer knew you by name. My husband and I are first-time homeowners who never stopped to consider the details or expenses of tree care or removal. We settled on a fair price with Bob for the removal of two trees, one of them a monstrosity of an olive tree with twin trunks, along with the trimming and thinning of another olive neglected for the better part of a decade. He carefully considers the aesthetics and health of the trees. As far as the removal, it takes diligence to grind a six-foot olive wood stump powder-fine, 17 inches into the ground, and not leave a single stray branch on the ground.
Bob checked in with me while I was out of state to make sure that we were on the same page and again a few days after I arrived home to make sure I was pleased with the job, a personal touch I greatly appreciated. My neighbor said it best: "His word is his bond." For as long as we live in his work radius, we know who our tree care expert will be.
