BUYER BEWARE!

Ordered a bumper from this company, thinking I could save an insurance claim by replacing the damaged one myself. They started by stating I would not be billed until the bumper had shipped..... WRONG! They had billed my card within minutes of submitting the online order. Then a week and a half goes by with no bumper. I called the company and they indicated to me that they still had not shipped the bumper (after a customer service rep promised me 48 hour shipping) Finally, I cancelled the bumper through the customer service department and requested a refund. Days go buy - no refund. I called them, they state that the bumper has shipped. At this time I am INCREDIBLY upset, I had already went local and purchased AND INSTALLED the new part. I told them it was not suppose to be shipped - it had been cancelled. They basically told me to bad. Asking to speak with a manager is a joke! Then another week after that I get the bumper. Wish I would have caught the mailman for refusal, however, he left it outside my garage. Sent the bumper back through my local FEDEX department, days go by - still no refund. Then I contact paypal and explain the situation through their "claim" process. After 2 weeks of dealing with this claim, they settle in their favor because they provided shipping information and then closed the case????????
This is a situation where not only am I disappointed in US Auto Parts, but PAYPAL, also. Closing my account at Paypal and NEVER using US AUTO PARTS again. Wish these reviews were more readily available when I ordered... seeing these comments I don't believe I EVER would have ordered through this company.
I see a lot of damaged item remarks, cannot attest to that because we never opened the box. Out 200.00 and, apparently, have no way of getting a refund. I am now going to the BBB, Angie's List, and my local state attorney generals office. Hopefully for some resolution...... but if not - maybe stopping them from continuously doing bad business.
