I had a pretty good experience with universal moving, they kin of saved the day.
I was scheduled to move with a certain, pretty big moving company, sometime on December.
24 hours before the move someone from their office calls me and let me know that they are very sorry but my move has to be postponed in 1 week. I did not have a week, I had to leave my apartment that week end of story. Nothing helped. I started making phone calls and got to universal, the sales rap was nice, and after hearing the story she gave me an offer, which was a little bit higher than what I had with the other company. I asked her if they can do something about the price since I would like to stay in that price. After an hour she called me back saying she managed to lower the price she offered and I will be paying what I was supposed to with the other company. I was happy.They showed up the next morning, on time, with uniforms-not that I understand why uniforms are so important for movers, everything was loaded after 3 hours, I had no problems with the payment. M y stuff got to my new home on time. I was really happy with that move, and I have moved twice before.
